I need a good nickname for my son!?

Question

My sons name is Brayden Ryan and everyone always calls him Brady or Bray or Bubba or something crazy,

Does anyone have any ideas of a good nickname?

He is only 3 months old and has auburn hair that is falling out, if that helps.

If   His  HAIR  Is  Falling  Out  Then Why Not Call HIM > BALDY<?(Kidding )...My  GrandSON  was  Named  Brandon  but EveryONE  Called  Him  "  TOYO "  as a  child.. As  HE  Became  Older  >  Then Brandon Was  HIS  name  ..  I would,nt  worry  about  it  if  I  were you.

What's wrong with Brady or Bray?

You can also just tell people, especially now that he is so young, that you would rather they use his full name. I don't think people would take offense, it's just a matter of preference and for the time being, this is your prerogative entirely.

Brayden is a great name.  Does he really need a nickname? If so, give it a little time, he is only 3 months. In time you will start calling him by a love name and it will stick and turn into a great nickname.

I would definitely go with Ayden. Although, I personally dislike nicknames. Just call him his name. As for the other people, that's their nickname for him, not yours.

baldy lol that was funny. Um Brad? Its a bit grown up for a baby though. I can undertand why they call him bray or brady - its a pretty obvious shortening of the name. Maybe Rye? Bubba is ok at his age. He is a baby. I call my husband Bub!

do you mean short name or nickname? as a shortname I would use Bray, that sounds really cool, but a nickname is something you come up with on your own, based on his personallity and stuff, not something you ask ppl to find for you.

Part of what is endearing about a nickname that a mom calls her son is that it is something the mom comes up with that reflects something about her son to her.  

For example:

My third son who is 8 weeks, I call goose.  Because when he gets done eating he makes a sound that sounds like a goose... because he needs to burp... but it is cute.

I am like Sawyer on 'Lost' though... I call all my kids by different made up goofy names until something sticks...

Our lil guys name is Benjamin and he looks like a monkey when you are burping him so he was called Benja-monkey for a while.  I also call my kids 'Magoo' and add anything to that like 'Mister Magoo' 'Monkey Magoo', etc... then I call my lil guy when I am changing his diaper Mister Magooby pants.

Like I said - it's goofy.  But every one of my kids has a name that came from something they did that just made me want to eat them up it was so cute to me.

So... to answer your question... give it time and your lil guy will do something and you will have yourself a nickname.
