I need a good poem!?

Ok heres the story, I am in grade 9. We have to do a dramatic poem presentation. We can do it in groups or by ourselfs. i have no idea what i'm going to do if anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate them. Also i'm not a very confident person so any tips would help as well.

My preference is a funny poem. We are also suppose to dress up when we do it so amybe a poem where I can dress up as something.... i'm not sure!

The pit in my heart fills with the sand from the empty desert of my dreams

Nothing but darkness in my world as far as the eye can see.

The pillars of my hope come crashing down,

destroying any chance of being found.

I wallow in my sorrow like a pathetic calf,

alone and unsure, pitied by all.

My life and spirit are all futile.

I have no other purpose than the target of ridicule.

I try and change things, try to make them better and nice

Only to have my efforts slashed as by a knife.

The pain I feel fills me with fear,

of never being able to leave or get out of here.

A dark hole filling with sand, trapped in the cascade of dirt from the land.

Slowly suffocating, never escaping,

no future foreseeable, no hope awaiting.....

this poem won me 10000 dollars over a contest.poems like these touch peoples hearts and they will applaud.as longs as its school any poem will be okay. if youre not shure about the type of poem like i would stick to dark poems
