I need a receiver with 1080p compatability and at least 2 HDMI outs for my PS3 and 360. I bought a home theatre system with 1000 watts, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a receiver that would work well for gaming/hd movies or any other options I have to set up my speakers.

Thanks :D

  1. depending on your budget i would suggest looking into denon. hands down some of the best feature equipped recievers on the market. multiple hdmi outs, several format options, high current design and excellent power ratings. and the price for most models is pretty fair.

  2. Onkyo makes some good stuff.  That's what I have, and I checked out a lot of brands before getting it.  Check them out, I am sure that have one with the specs you listed.

  3. I personally would recommend the Harmon / Kardon AVR 247 or 347.  I think you might only need one HDMI output and two HDMI inputs. Output would go to the TV and the inputs would be for your PS3 and Xbox 360.  The systems also feature up-scaling for any standard def signals such as the Nintendo Wii up from 480i or 480p to 720p.  If you want something with a little more kick, I would go with a Yamaha or Denon system.  I have the H/K AVR 247 myself, and think its amazing! =) Hope this helps.
