Yea, a little bit more detail would be helpful.

But, a good topic is parental rights for seniors - no one else will be doing that, trust me, and your teacher will think you are ever so smart.

You can write about internet ot computer and technology,you

can possibly create a presentation on the evils of reverse engineering or on a famous historical person or a monument

i am sure you could get a lot of information on that.A few good sites offering info are google.com,wikipedia.com,ask.com etc.

Present something that you know about, are good at or are interested in.  I had a girl in my speech class present a speech on how to put on makeup without a mirror.  It was hysterical because she came to class without any makeup on and could really do it.  I have had guys explain football and basketball.  I had one student show how to clean up the classroom in less than a minute.  Food preparation  is always good.  If you are presenting a current topic, make sure the audience cares about it.

Wish I knew who you were giving that presentation to! lol .. Anyway .. my latest peeve is "Teachers Forcing Parents to Drug their Children" in order to allow them to stay in class!  (ADD / ADHD) . In my opinion RITALYN IS the number One gateway drug.
