i used limewire. but u have to download it and i think it might be illegal. and there are also plenty of viruses but i downloaded many songs without getting a virus. if u do get limewire only get mp3 files not wma. and its also free. if u download a wma file u will get a virus.

I use Yahoo Launchcast, it costs me $3.00 a month, the quality meets that of CD's and MP3's, it's awesome.

Launchcast is only internet radio though, they dont allow you to download. For that I use a little program called AOMRecord. (The guy is selling licenses right now for $20 US.) The quality of the recording is nearly perfect. The settings are important, but it works great.

Considering a new CD can cost $23, the $20 for the AOMRecord and the $3 a month for Launchcast is a pretty smokin deal.

If you dont mind dealing with viruses and malware, P2P and Torrents are the next best option. I would recommend Azureus Vuze for Torrent, and BearShare or Kazaa for P2P.
