im using fake names not the real friends names

sean is a friend of the guy i like brad. my friend tracey said she will introduce me to brads friend sean (which tracey is friends wit) but now she said that she doesn't know who brad likes (before she thought that brad liked me) so now i don't nkow if i should still meet sean, and ask him questions about brad. should i?

Try just meeting him and starting out as friends.

You might not even know this early in if you really like him until you really get to know him.

Meet him, and don't quiz him on Brad.  it's sure to get back to Brad, and not necessarily in the way you want.  It's ok to tell him you'd like to get to know Brad better, but I would not go any further.
