I need a hair style for thick hair!?

Question

i don't want a style for which i have to straighten my hair.

my hair is long.

it naturally waves out on the ends.

it looks like Tracy Turnblad's hair in Hairspray.

i need a hair style that waves out.

if your hair is naturally wavy.. get your hair damp and spritz some salt water to make it peicy... then spray some spray gel to hold it in place and scrunch it up let it air dry or use a diffuser and dont brush it out

well you could do what i do since i have long thick hair too...

after you take a shower

1. flip your head upside down so your hair is hanging in front of you

2. put shaping mousse in your hair from root to tip

3. use a round barrel brush and blow dry your hair (yes still upside down)

4. when it is like 90% dry, flip your head back over and start rolling 1.5- 3 inch sections onto 2.5 inch velcro rollers

5. wait for all of your hair to dry and set, then when it is,take out the rollers and immediately flip upside down again and spray hairspray all around your head so that the curls stay

6. Flip right side up and admire your gorgeous hair

it took me a few times to get it to look just right, so dont get frustrated if it doesn't turn out the way you wanted the first time

Try braiding your hair before going to sleep  ,& in the morning you have really wavy hair .

Or try thinning it out some to help .

Rollers before bed also work .

Or try a curling iron . (:
