I need a hairstyle thick hair for school.. im 13?

Question

ok im 13 and i go to a school that has a uniform.. so i cant wear my hair down.

i have really thick brown hair, i have layers (but there growing out) and it is about 4 inches from my sholders.

EVERYDAY.. i wear it in a pony tail cause i dont no any other way :(

also everytime i go to the hairdresser i get thinned out and its STILL thick...

ALSO i live in australia... so no america shops or anything

and pics or links would really help!

pigtails high or low look good on anybody. low buns look cute too. if you have one of those big clip thingies then make a ponytail, twist it, and clip it to the top of you head. also try adding clips and scrunchies to your hair styles to make them look nice. but if you like wearing ponytails, then try this method that makes low ponytails look great:

1. make a loose low pony

2. split the pony in half on the side of the hair band closest to your head

3. use your thumb and pointer fingers to pull pony through the split you made

4. look in a mirror to see if it looks even

viola! a "fancy" pony tail
