I need a handicap parking space outside my home, Who should I contact?

I need a handicap sign posted outside my home and also the blue line painted what agency should I contact. I live in San Jose California, in Santa Clara county

being in Scotland a bit different. there must be a social services department there, if not contact the local police(not on 911.) they should be very help full,and put you in the picture of where all the different organisations are

I assume that you live in an apartment or townhome complex.   Consult with your management about your needs.    If they refuse to work with you,  contact  the city or county social services agencies for direction.    Of course,  a marked spot would also require that your vehicle be properly plated or tagged or you risk citation or towing as well.
