  1. Check your states guidelines as to what the requirements are. I know Indiana, you can print out your down diploma from certain sites to make it more official.

However, if your planning on going to college, i would check the colleges you are interested in as to what their guidelines are also. Some require you to take tests to make sure you can meet their requirements, others just want a regular diploma.

  2. Not if you're homeschooled. Your parents can write yours out for you once you've finished your program of study, or you can do without a diploma or a ged entirely. Homeschoolers have different (though similar) requirements for colleges, and top universities will take a homeschooler with only a transcript and SAT/ACT scores.

  4. Why? Going into the military? Go to your state's Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction's (OSPI) website.

College? Don't need one anymore. Have mom or dad write you up a transcript (free samples online) and just pass your entrance exams.

But too much religious studies and forget going to college in CA.

  5. First of all, what's your background? Drop out? Homeschooler? high school student who's eager to finish?

Secondly, what's your motivation? Where are you trying to go and what are you trying to achieve?

Answers to that would definitely clarify the answers you'll get.

  6. Well, it depends on how many credits you lack.

It used to be you'd get 30 credits if you went into the military for 90 days or more (such as the Reserves).

Contact your school to find out.

There is also the GED program.
