I need a hobby!!?

Question

need a hobby! I really like acting but I live in a small town with no acting classes. i spend too much time watching tv and on the computer. I am not into sports at all. My options I am looking into is dance, guitar, and singing. But I still don't know

I had a problem about finding a hobby too, the way I found a hobby was putting all the things I like to do together. My hobby came out to staying up late watching forensic files with my friends eating chocolate covered pretzals!

personally i would have to tell u ur options are awsome! i did all 3 hobbies! So dancing takes a lot of percerverence! U really have to make sure that dance is what u want because when u do it as a hobby wat happens is u have to change the way u live life! u have to be fit and eat healthy nothing bad ever! Now if u want to do guitar u must practice everyday at least 30 min a day! Now w/t singing it's a big prob b/c i don't know if u can sing because in singing u have to be really good! u also have to change the way u live life some days u have to not talk because u have to rest ur voice and u can't scream ever! u also have to practice 30 min a day not including vocal warm ups! u also have to find ur style and spend lots of $ of songs each week with a back track!

personally go w/t guitar it easy!

Anything can be a hobby. I hated sports too and I grew up in a really small town (2000 people) but lived about 30 min to a decent size one.

I found that I liked to be active. So I started hiking / exploring my surroundings. I bought a camelpak and supplies (food, knife, rope, first aid, fire). Just in case. I started finding great spots to see and hike, met cool people and even started taking pictures.

I also started taking Karate, because i was tired of sitting around and I figured it was more fun than the gym. I went 1-2 times a week. I really started to enjoy it and now its a hobby that I can go to a class and enjoy or do on my own.

I bought a punching bag to help with that too.

My grandfather learned the drums and guitar but I never got a chance to do either. So why not try it... It is always cool to be the guy that can whip out a guitar at a party and sing to a lady, even if you suck at singing.. man the ladies swoon.

Hmm what else. Do you like to read? Book club ( I read a lot but I never joined one..)

Volunteer, it can be good for the soul and who knows you might find something you like.

If you can't find anything, then why not start like a small acting group. There may be others in the town interested. Get businesses in town to help pay for a play and there ya go!

how about cross stitching, theres 2 types, theres stamped, where the pattern is on the material, it will wash otu when your done sewing the pattern on it it. Then there is counted cross stitch, where you ahve to count the squares, 1 wrong move though, & the whole pattern is messed up.
