I have a claddagh ring tatto and its inside a clover and the saying love loyalty and friendshsip is on top and i want another one with just a saying

  1. Well ... "Grá, dílseacht agus cairdeas" is a direct translation of love, loyalty and friendship.

    Apart from that you have loads of irish proverbs:

    "Is glas iad na cnoc i bhfad uainn" = The grass is always greener on the other side

    "Is binn béal ina thost" = silence is bliss

    "Níl aon tintéan mar do thitéan fhéin" = No place like home

    "Oíche aerach is maidin bhrónach." = A lively night and a sad morning. = good night bad haangover!!

    "Ní thagann ciall roimh aois" = sense doesn't come before age

    Sure if you google "seanfhocail" (proverbs) you should find a list of them!
