  1. I you are looking for a job fast a good job search site may speed things up for you.  JobForge.com will allow you target your job interest and apply directly to employers within your area.  All the available jobs are returned from monster, careerbuilder, hotjobs, indeed, jobing, usajobs, state employment offices, human resource departments, temp agencies, small business owners, newspapers, etc.  There is nothing to download and no fee for use.  Many employers will allow you to apply online, while some may like you to call or drop in.

You may also want to post your resume at sites such as yahoo hotjobs, careerbuilder, monster, jobing, and job.com.  You never know when an employer may be looking for a job candidate for a position they have not yet advertised.

Applying at no-fee temp companies could be yet another source of fast employment.  Many allow you to specify the schedule you would like to work and match you accordingly.

Good luck in your job hunt!

  2. Monster.com is the site I think I used to find my current job at home depot.  I believe there are a few others out there, cant remember I saw a bunch of them advertised on CNN a year ago.

  3. Go to monster.com and post your resume. Employers look at resumes and if you are qualified, then they will contact you. That's what I did. I posted my resume and got a call the next day! Good luck.
