  1. When I was an inexperienced 16yo I got a job in a plastic factory on the West Island. There's plenty of factories on Cote-de-Liesse in St. Laurent as well.

Or, if you don't count McDonald's as "meat"...also maybe the big theatre complex?

  2. Go to your local grocery stores or restaurants.

  3. The grocery stores or restaurants would be your best bet........

  4. check craigslist.com

  5. that leaves out most fast food workers and waitress jobs..also food markets..

but maybe you could babysit.? or be a nany for people who can't pay a lot..? check out family and friends for chores like house keeping and running errands..also a lemon aide stand makes money or collecting returnable bottles//,handing out ads for stores or a paper route..not much happening as the college students and high school grads are taking up all the good jobs...but you could volunteer in a hospital or a nursing home

  6. If you look good, go around shops and look for job offers in the entrances or ask for it.

Also, every gas station is almost always looking for people part time.

Look for student or regular jobs on www.emploiquebec.net

Finally, if you're willing to work physically or are good for filing or other administrative work, look for some plants who have trouble to replace people on vacation in summer. It can be a good beginning.

  7. Hmmm.....washing dishes at a restaurant, cash register at burger king/harveys/mccyDees/ or Tim Hortons...

  8. I was gonna suggest restaurant of cafe work.

    I guess I'm out!

Yeah, try  looking into babysitting or housecleaning instead!

    Good luck to you!
