At this point, at your age, in this city and state I would take whatever job is available right now and I wouldn't be picky.

You should check out the local businesses in your area.  Mcdonalds, Burger King, grocery stores, ect...

whoa..you're 16 and you're already putting stipulations on what sort of job you will take???...in this job market consider yourself lucky if you can get any kind of job..there are people twice your age who would be thrilled with a server's job at the moment.

Good luck with your search...but I advise that you change your attitude asap.  You already sound like an employer's worst nightmare.

Right now in Michigan, jobs are hard to come by for teenagers. The only jobs available for teenagers are jobs working for fast food, watressing at a restaurant, or working at a grocery store. Also, as a student, you would need a work permit to work and you can only work about 20 hours a week.

You sound pretty desperate, but yet you're so picky as to say you will not accept a job as a waitress.

It sounds like you seriously have some growing up to do, because at your age you should be willing to take on any job temporarily, as desperate as you sound.

EDIT: Just as I thought, another arrogant teen with a poor attitude. It just seem so many parents these days are doing a very poor job raising the next generation.

Learn how to swallow you're pride a little bit, life is about working through the undesirable things in life to achieve the desirable, quite expecting handouts, and try building your own character! As for you referring to anyone as retarded, all I can say is you shouldn't think that way of yourself.
