I have tried out various demo racquets such as the babolat aeropro drive and the wilson k factor (federer's exact same racquet) and cant seem to find one that fits me. I used to have a wilson hybrid hammer 6.2 and loved it i just need an updated version of that style racquet. I highly dislike prince racquets. I would like the head of the racquet to be on the small side (95 sq in would be prefered). I would also like the racquet to be light. Can anyone help me. Thanks in advance.

  1. how bout the wilson ntour 95?

i have tht and it was said to be the next gen of the wilson hammer series

it's light too, but has a blend of power and more control

  2. Wilson N-code....best light weight powerful racquet! No debating about it....10 points....PPPPLLLLZZZZ

  3. it is not very clear how lightweight you want the racquet. for example, many pros may consider racquets weighed less than 12 oz are lightweight, but beginners may think below 10 oz is light-weight.

since you used to have a Hybrid Hammer 6.2, you may want to demo Wilson K Factor K Six-Two. it is 100 sq in and weighs about 10.5 oz. but it's 3 points head-light, you might want to adjust first (your old HH 6.2 is head-heavy). you can always fine tune the racquet by applying some lead tape to make it head-heavy to your preferences.

    hope it helps :)

  4. I play tennis not so well though but i can tell you that  a titanium  racket is normally pretty light. if you compare the rackets in your hand and take a feww swing you can sometimes tell what is right for you. Also taking a couple hits can make you used to it.

sorry if that didn't help you.

  5. i have an amazing racket that is just what you are looking for it is called the air freak and it is made by prince look it up

  6. yea, i used to have a babalot,  and i tried federer's raquet as well, both were moeratly heavier than i thought, and didnt fit right as well. Then i tried the wilson blade raquet whihc had a blend of power and control, but most importantly it was lightwheight. I also rotate with a head flexpoint to compare and get differnet wieghts and feels between both to variey up my game. good luck, try this site if it helps.http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/

  7. I would suggest the K Surge, it has a light, yet maneuverable feel. You may want to also try the K Zen. If you are wanting to stick to Wilson check out this website, it has all the info you need.

  8. Try a racket from the new Head Migrogel line they give both good power and control.

  9. You aren't going to find a lightweight racquet that has a head that small.  When you get to the lowest end of midplus down to the midsize racquets, they will all be pretty heavy racquets.

Also, your hammer was head-heavy.  That craze ended once the hammers were gone, so you won't find many head-heavy racquets anymore.  To get something that will feel similar to that, you'd probably want to go with something like the Hyper Hammer 6.3

And with the amount of head-light racquets out now, you probably don't really want something too light.  The hammers feel heavy, but really aren't.  If you got something the same weight as that 6.3, but was head-light, it wouldn't feel like you were holding anything.

The new thing is to get heavy racquets that are head-light.  They're easier on your arms, and they have much better control than any head-heavy racquet ever had.  So, like I said, the only way you'll get something that's a similar style to what you used to have, would be to find a copy of that racquet, or to get something similar, like that 6.3.
