My fiance' and I are both trying to plan this, but it seems that most of it is falling back to me. I know my colors (aqua, white, black, and silver), the date, the place for wedding and reception, etc

I have pretty much everything, but I seem to be butting my head against a wall when it comes to centerpieces.

I like this one, but there wouldnt be any flowers in it, and it would have that "sea glass" stuff that you can get at Walmart at the bottom, with water and floating candles in it. kinda like this http://www.beachsidewedding.com/images/centerLarge.gif

Im head over heels with this one because of the lighting matching the aqua color that i want. Im not settled on flowers yet, but im probably going to go with either white calla lilies, white begonias (which would also be in my hair), or some flower that looks similar to either.

  1. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of any of them.  One I dea that I love is a bowl with the flowers inside the bowl twisted against the sides.  I saw it done on "Whose Wedding Is It Anyway" and then at the florist.  The long stems sprial against the side of the bowl with water in it and you could be your river rocks in the bottom and floating candles in the top or just leave them plain.

    I vote for this one

I really do not care for the lighted one.  It looks too fake.  Just my opinion.

  3. Personally I don't like any, but in context, I think the last one could be nice.  BUT you need to test it in different lighting situations before you decide.  I think they might look best in a very dark room, but at the same time they might look way too bold.  Test them out.

Your other option is to print these photos and bring them to a florist (or floral designer, or other designer), with your potential flower choices in mind.  See what they can put together.  Keep in mind that changing the type of flower can really change the look of the centerpiece, so it's important to really consider and view your options first, instead of just saying "oh I want begonias", because though they look great in your hair they may not look so cool on the table.

I like that you're trying to work the aqua in through the light.  I think it would be much more elegant than trying to find table linens in aqua or something.  It's a strong colour and so you need it to pop, if you go with #3 you will likely have this effect
