Question:

I need a lot of help off of the tee!!!?

My shots off of the tee, whether using a driver or wood, do the exact same thing. They travel with a low trajectory about 50-70 yards and then dive straight down into the ground. I'm assuming this would be top spin causing this, but any suggestions with my swing would help. Also, I'm going to the PGA superstore to get a lesson on Thursday and wanted to know which woods/drivers you would recommend my trying to hit?

  1. 1. Tee it up higher .

    2. Cheap balls don't fly far.

3.keep the ball even with your crotch ~!

  2. Ping G10, and il tell you why, they dont max out in moi, but trust me, they pack a punch, and while the sq may go far, its known to not get enough trajectory off the tee, example, TIGER WOODS DOES NOT USE IT. Kj choi does, but if you were to watch golf, you would see them talking about how Kj Choi does not get  enough trajectory off the tee, same with Casey, who shot 7 over at the final round at the master's after starting t-3 (tied for 3rd) Plus G10 are a lot less expensive, leaving yourself with enough money to buy a callaway hx hot 3 wood, which are explosive of the tee, my dad has one, and he hits it farther than his driver,  same with my friend, the exact same anwser, and guess what, the callway xh hot, on sale at most golf stores! its your lucky day my friend

  3. This is the reason that the square driver was invented. It helps get the ball in the air and keep extra spin out of the issue. Look at the Nike Sasquatch Sumo 2 and Sumo 5900.

These drivers promote the highest amount of forgiveness and help get the ball in the air. The 5900 won a gold medal in the Golf Digest Hot List and was ranked #1 in forgiveness and easiest to hit. Secondly, look at the Callaway FT-I, this driver was the first square driver ever created. Although this a little pricy it is diffenently worth the money if you are serious about improving you game. Also, definently try the New Taylormade Tour Burner. Which features a super light shaft and superfast technology which helps amatuer players hit their drives like the pros.

Also, you may have the wrong stifness of shaft. Not enough flexibility causes the bottom of the club face to be past parallel to the ground, creating top spin and you ultimate problem.

Another problem may be the loft of your driver, you might need a higher lofted driver somewhere around 11-13. TREVOR IMMELMAN WHO WON THE MASTERS USES AND 11.5 DEGREE DRIVER.

Swing problems, you might be out of tempo and off balance. It is very hard to tell just be hearing about your problem. I'd have to see you actually hit some tee shots.

An important thing to keep in my is that a faster swing is not a better swing. If you swing at 85 MPH but don't make solid contact, it is like your swing 55 MPH. Control your swing. Bring it back low and slow, don't go for the Daly Grip it and Rip It.

    Best of luck this season.

  4. You should have gone to the PGA Superstore 3 weeks ago when you first asked this question. Let the pro at the store select the right driver and shaft for you.

  5. most pros are roking the taylrmade burner, which really does go far.  I play last years callaway x tour driver and it explodes when hit well so i assume that the new one will do the same.  also the sq is a great driver.  actually if i were buying a driver right now, it'd be either da hyper x, taylormade burner or callaway ft-5.  however, since you are having trouble with spin, i would consider a square driver

  6. You could be swinging your arms wrong make sure your arms are in a "v" shape the whole way
