I need a mans point of view...

My BF and I broke up recently and I am having a hard time moving on as I really did/do love him. We went out for about 12 months. He said " I really really do love and adore you but the timing is not right for us". He also said "do you think its easy walking away from the most wonderful girl I have ever met? the answer is no". He is a good guy and has always been honest with me but I am worried that he has just given me an excuse because he does not want a future with me because he is afraid to commit. I know that he does have big family and work issues to sort out and this is why he says the timing is not right. Is timing really a legitimate reason or does he just not want me anymore?

  1. If he is truly as good a man as you believe, I definitely would think it is a legitimate reason.  I think that people who really know themselves prioritize and really assess what is going on in their lives which, unfortunately, can lead to these kinds of decisions.  It is entirely possible that he just does not have the time or energy to give to you what he feels you deserve--that is no reflection on you.

If he jumps into another relationship before these issues are sorted out you can call BS on what he's said, but for the time being it sounds honest to me.

  2. If he said those words to you and walked away...then he lied to you.

No man who feels that way would leave such a woman unless someone killed him, or he found someone better to go to.

    Now, is he currently dead?????

Get a life and move on.  This guy is playing you like a guitar.  NEVER under estimate how slimy and rotten we men can be.  And, we are excellent liars...ask any older women.

  3. allow me to say something that i might be wrong.. if hes a good and honest guy as you see it..! walking away from a lover reasoned by work issue and the  timing is not right.. obviously you failed to see him deeper. hes reasonably unresponsible
