I need a monologue!!?

Question

I am auditioning for the play M*A*S*H at my school on September 3. I need to have one prepared monologue, and I'm at a loss for what to do. I can't really find one that I like, that will hopefully get me a good role in this play. I need some sort of female monologue, and it probably could be either funny or dramatic.

I also don't really know anything about the play M*A*S*H aside from the fact that it's based on the TV show. And I can't find anything about it on the internet. If anyone has any information on the play, such as what kinds of parts there are for female actors, the plot, or where I could maybe find the script online, that would help me a lot!

Try googling Actor's Point monologues, they have a huge selection for different lengths, ages ,times and types.

   When you audition for a musical never audition with a piece from that show.  The monologue you choose should be age appropriate.  If you are 13/14 try the diary of Anne Frank.  If you are 15, 16, or 17 try something from a teen monologue book.  You can find them in any book store.

   As for what mash is about.... This is the movie (sorry that is all I could find!)
