Question:

I need a name for my business- landscape horticulture services.?

I need something that doesn't suggest that I am a "landscaping" company; but rather, a landscape maintenance company... also something that describes my intention of taking care of the earth.. like the true meaning of the word "deva" {DEVAS (spelled correctly)- Nature spirits or "elementals" who take care of the earth "behind the scenes." They work with the mineral, plant, and animal kingdoms, as well as with larger elements, such as the oceans, clouds, and mountains.}... and with a natural approach to landscape maintenance... no/very minimal chemical use....

Thank you for your help :)

  1. You need to be creative. It should be 3 words or less and be able to give people an idea what you do. Also, don't use your name like "Pam's lawn service". Plus don't limit yourself like "Nature's lawn mowing". It will suggest that's all you do. Good luck.

  2. Let me try: 1.- Happy Garden.                9.- Field & Garden

                       2.- Spring Team.                 10.- Spring & Garden.

                       3.- Spring Flowers.

                       4.- Garden Field.

                       5.- House Garden

                       6.- Spring House.

                       7.- Green House

                       8.- House & Garden

  3. environmental design & maintenance

take a course in Permaculture and you can call it Permaculture Environmental design

that has all the ingrediants you seek

but to be able to use the nbame legaly you must complete a course

  4. How about GRRRr.....-grow, reuse, recycle, retain, refresh, RELAX...

  5. Personally,  I would be attacted by an ad for something like

    "No-Chem Natural Lawncare & Landscaping"

I would most likely even give you a call for the details of what you do and to get an estimate...

I won't be interested in a company named something that's too cute (I want to hire someone that's serious about my lawn) or too technical in the name...save the DEVA and elemental stuff for you and your staff's personal descriptions to potential clients of the services you actually perform, and/or for your sales & service literature.

    Good luck!

  6. how about something like "The Green Muse" with a small fairy/woman sprinkling dust over a lawn/flowers

Or "The Dirty Deva" not sure of the inuendo, but, if the picture is a geared up woman in work boots with a hose wrapped around her shoulder spraying a garden with flowers coming up out of dirt??? the under slogan could be the definition of Deba attributed to Websters etc

Enjoy your creative process! Enjoy your Deva self!!!!!!!!!
