  1. Here's how I get the name for each of  my bikes: I figure out its spirit - what it is that made me buy it. I then used a baby book online to find names that fit the definition. There are several out there. Just search "baby names." My husband named his Lucille because B.B.King was playing his guitar in the background when he (my husband) first set his eyes on her.

Remember, all motorcycles are ladies- even when they roar. It's just bad Karma to name anything with an engine a boy's name.

Here is something to get you started using black, beauty, and girl only filter:: Onyx, Ebony, Jedda, Kali, Amazon, Sable- keep at it. You'll find one.

  2. I just hadda laugh! Thanks Rudy!

"The Green Hornet" - that's what the guys at work called my first bike.

Buzzed on the highway. Also a Honda. And yes, it was green. Later, it was black (metalflake).

    Now, to the question.

You can take suggestions from us if you want, but for the name to fit it should come from someone who knows the bike. Each has it's own little bits of history or other things that make it the individual it is. The only one who can really name it is one who knows that individual.

    Black Beauty

A classic story of a black horse, a kid, companionship, and trust.

    A suggestion.

  3. Take it slow, don't go rushin for first base too soon! She obviously doesn't know you well enough yet! She will tell you her name when she's ready!! Not long now and she'll be putty in your hands!!!

  4. You are not listening hard enough. I would call her "Whisper"

  5. Naming bikes is DUMB.  Don't bother.

  6. The Green Hornet!...wait...what color is it?
