I need a new Graphics card!!!?

Question

Alright at the moment I have a Nvidia Geforce 6200 PCI Card, 768mb memory on my pc. At the moment I dont have enough for a switch on pc's and am wondering what I would need to do to for better gameplay(eg.more memory/better card) and I dont want to spend over 70$...I want to play Day of Defeat with out getting kicked for ping >.<

If your getting kicked for your ping its nothing to do with your graphics card, its you connection to the internet. When in-game (make sure console is activated) type cl_showfps 2.

This will show your frames per second, anything above 50 is realtime.

You wont find many good graphics cards for $70 the 6200 you currently have should run fine.

well your ping has nothing to do with your gpu. Buyt if you wanted to upgrade get a 8800gt. The price went down a lot with the new line of cards from nvidia. I have a 6800 so i understand your pain and how you can&#039;t play a lot of games on High. Your memory seems like it would be enough but you could go 1gb and more. I had 1gb and i could play a lot of games and now that i have 2gb it runs a lot more smoothly.
