Question:

I need a new air intake hose for my 1995 Toyota Celica?

have looked online to find a replacement part however one does not exist. The engine is a 2.2L and I BELIEVE that it is the same engine found in the 1995 Toyota Camry but am not 100% sure. They offer the intake hose from the Camry online and not the Celica. Does anyone know if I can use this as a direct swap? Or does anyone have any alternative solutions?

  1. Do you absolutely need a stock replacement? If I were you, I would look on a website like www.autoanything.com and look for a short ram intake for your celica.  It bolts to the exact same place as your stock tube but it creates more power and saves gas.  Also if two cars share the same engine, generally, parts can be directly swapped.  The only question would be availible space in the engine bay.
