I want to switch to a new brand of makeup. I've been using CoverGirl for years but it doesn't really cover me up as much as id like. My skin is a tanish color (im not really light, but im not really dark either, so i pretty much come in between) and it's also very sensitive and oily (I have combination skin). I want to use a new brand of make up that has the following:

- NOT tested on animals

- Doesn't need to have spf but if it does that would be great

- Non-Comedogenic

- Lightweight, non heavy feeling

- Wont clog my pores

- Affordable

I heard that CoverGirl tests on animals which is another reason I dont want to use it anymore.

I also have another question: I've heard that Bare Minerals/Bare Essentials/Bare Naturale is pretty good. Ok, All those names sound pretty much the same to me so what's the difference?? LOL

If anyone can answer ALL my questions I'll choose you as best!!!! THANK YOUU :)

  1. Physicians Formulas is what i use.  It's really good.  It also has an organic line you can find it in Target, Walmart, Walgreens, etc. I wouldn't use anything else!  Most of the products are spf 15.

  2. You really need to try SheerCover. It works soo well! You feel like you have NO makeup on and it covers everything and makes you look like a celebrity! Please look it up and give it a try.

  3. Bare minerals and Bare essentials are the same thing. Don't know about Bare Naturale. But bare minerals has bismuth oxychloride in it, which is a heavy metal, closely related to arsenic! It clogs your pores and will make you itch! Plus it's expensive!

I use the Hollywood formula of LA Minerals and I love it. I'ts the best mineral makeup i've ever tried (and I've tried lots!)

They don't test on animals. Has spf 15. Non comedogenic ingredients. Very lightweight (feels like you are wearin nothing)

    Won't clog your pores.

Way more affordabel than bare minerals.

They have samples for like $1 on their website and they ship them free.

YOu should definitely try it...you will be so glad you did!

  4. MAC!!!

bare minerals is great, too, but it doesnt cover up as much as i would like, either.  the difference is just the thickness or the type, so liquid or solid or powder, or whatever.

i would choose mac mineralize satin finish SPF 15.
