I need a new camera and don't know which to choose?

I gonna go into eighth grade this year, and i really need a camera that's good and not too expensive. I looked all over the internet, but there's too many to choose from. If anyone out there has a camera they would like to recommend to me, please do!

I have a REALLY REALLY cheap camera.. it was 100 bucks.. it is not as awesome.. but its all I got.. I say.. get a cheap camera.. like atleast 100 bucks.. and maybe I should get mine.. on here.. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605... ok.. the batteries run out ALOT with this camera.. so if you do get this.. I say.. GET RECHARGABLE. This camera gives me GREAT pictures.. it may be cheap.. but I LOVE LOVE LOVE my camera.

I have a Canon Photoshot SD1000 Digital Elph and it's a great camera. I don't think it was too expensive.

Go to costco and look for ones that say exilim(sp?)
