I need a new hairstyle. I have thick hair and i don't want to cut it. I can't highlight it. What can i do?

That's what I said, then I got a trim and it wasn't enough, then I got some side swept bangs, and that wasn't enough, then I got bangs, and that was awful, so I got my hair layered to help them grow out.  Now It's been almost a year, and it's just starting to look good again!  

If you are looking for something simple that will add a little style, you have two choices, choice A - get a simple hair cut, perhaps make the front a little bit shorter than the back (to frame your face) then get a couple of small layers put in...

Or - Get some new accessories for Up dos and learn how to do them.  There are lots of cool things you can do with your hair.

A third idea is to go to a flea market or mall and get some of those hair extensions they sell.  They make your hair look awesome!

There is a million things you can do with thick hair as long as your creative! you can curl it straighten it pin it all up scrunch  it for the s*x kitten hairstyle. you do the side braid thats very popular there are a million thinbgs you can do without cutting buit I would suggest getting a trim and maybe long layers to thin it out a little bit, I get bored with my hair alot to but I just pick up a magizine and try to immitate the styles looks and make them my own. you can also find a lot of cute things to put in your hair such as headbands or ribbons.

I know you say you can't cut it...does that just mean length? If you have really thick hair you may want to think about layers. They'll give your hair some texture and you'll be able to do a lot of cute updos without all the weight of your thick hair.
