  1. alot  but you need to get some one who knows what they are doing don't cheep jack it  as this will cost you in the end for all the bad builders about get a good one there is still good builders about

  2. The best thing you can do is to call a few contractors and ask for an estimate. Prices vary from state to state, and contractor to contractor. No one on here (unless they're a contractor living in your area) can give you a close estimate. Things like how big your roof is, and what material it's made from go into the figuring. I've heard, for regular asphalt shingles, you can pay from $2,000 to $$8,000, for a ranch style 1,500 square foot house. But, only an estimate from an area contractor can give you the best estimate. Getting an estimate is free. <*)))><

  3. $200 a square plus price of supplies. A square is a 10' x 10' area. Supplies can very depending on if you need new sheating (the plywood). But supplies in Spfld, IL are about $1000 for a 15 square roof without sheating. So measure your roof length and width, multiply the numbers and divide by 10.  This is roughly how many square you have.  Get many estimates from guys in the local paper and go with the best one (not necessarily the cheapest.)

  4. Prices will vary by region and whatever labor charges run in your area.

The following web page will give you a lot of helpful information - it is on home roofing...

    http://www.building-your-green-home.com/...

It has branch pages off on numerous types of roofing.

    Hope this helps!
