Hiya. I am a 13 year old and I am about 5 feet tall and weigh approximately 100 lbs. I have been riding for 2 years on a ride ruckus. I can turn well and almost never fall. I am wanting to get into doing some jumps and rails but also want my board to be good for riding with my family and they are skiirs who don't do terrain parks. What is a good board for me as well as size and binding? I know that most boots fit in most bing=dings but just to be safe I will tell you what my boots are. They are size 6 Saloman Hiana.

  1. You want a Rome label snowboard.  It is the best overall board for you.  It shreds anywhere you can take it.  Id recommend Rome 390 bindings or Rome Arsenals in small.

  2. My first advice to you is do not buy Burton products.  They are expensive, but they are made with low-quality materials.  A couple of great brands are Lib-Tech. and Gnu.  They are reasonably priced and made from good materials.  For size, I would recommend that you go to a shop that has boards that you can look at.  Find one that's nose comes to somewhere around your nose when it's tail is on the ground.  That is the size board that you need to order if the shop doesn't carry a brand that you like.

  3. I don't know what kind of deck I'd get, cause I'm looking into that right now. But I know for sure you ought to get Rome bindings. They kick aassss.

  4. right now i have a burton board bindings and boots they are really nice i recomend buying burton

  5. signal is awsome all around but  stick with burton bindings who cares what those other guys say they make good stuff

  6. burton...if you have burton bindings you need burton boots!

  7. NOT NOT NOT burton. get a 148 skate banana. supa hot board. fantastic jib board that ride pow fantastic too. binding: get ride alpha bindings. i ride them and they are tight! i submit that you get new boots, too. any brand except lamar and burton will do fine.

now, of course, this is assuming you have a lot of money. thats like a 1000 dolla setup.

  8. Whats up buddy? I think i can point you in the right direction.  This website: http://www.sierrasnowboard.com/snowboard... has great deals with plenty of boards and bindings that will be perfect for you. I think you should first check out the Option Mirror in a size 149. This is a freestyle board that can still ride the mountain with ease and is produced by a great company. This site has it for 50% off.  Another board i would check out is the Forum Youngblood 148, also 50% off. This one is geared for your age group and is perfect for learning in the park.  Also, the Palmer Lil Finch 149 is designed by one of the best riders in the world and will be awesome for you.  As for bindings, check out the Union Force in a M/L or the 2007 Burton Mission in a Small. Hopefully this helps you out bro. If you surf that site you should be able to find some great deals. Good luck!!
