I don't know if I should get a lands end 3 in 1 coat, or snowboarding jacket, do the jackets keep you warm, or do you get cold in them?

Thanks a lot

  1. If you're only wearing a t-shirt and the snowboarding jacket you will be cold.  I usually wear t-shirt and put a hoodie over it and then the jacket.

The main purpose of a snowboarding jacket is the nylon material so that you are waterproofed.  I recently bought a "MARKER" jacket for $258.  It is a bit pricey but not too bad compared to the Spyder jackets, those are ridiculously expensive, they'll run you $500.  You may want to check out ebay for deals.

I got my jacket from www.princetonski.com  www.paragonsports.com is also a nice site.

    HOPE THIS HELPS.

  2. Snowboarding jackets definitly do keep you warm, but theyre really used as a shell. Snowboarders use alot of layers so wearing the jacket alone isnt usual, but depending on the inside and how thick it is, it probably wont be as warm as a 3 in 1. If you snowboard though, then it might be a deal to be a little chilly
