  6. Science is reasoned-based analysis of sensation upon our awareness. As such, the scientific method cannot deduce anything about the realm of reality that is beyond what is observable by existing or theoretical means. When a manifestation of our reality previously considered supernatural is understood in the terms of causes and consequences, it acquires a scientific explanation.

Some of the findings of science can be very counter-intuitive. Atomic theory, for example, implies that a granite boulder which appears a heavy, hard, solid, grey object is actually a combination of subatomic particles with none of these properties, moving very rapidly in space where the mass is concentrated in a very small fraction of the total volume. Many of humanity's preconceived notions about the workings of the universe have been challenged by new scientific discoveries. Quantum mechanics, particularly, examines phenomena that seem to defy our most basic postulates about causality and fundamental understanding of the world around us. Science is the branch of knowledge dealing with people and the understanding we have of our environment and how it works.

  7. Science is knowledge attained through study or practice, or knowledge covering general truths of the operation of general laws, as obtained and tested through scientific method and concerned with the physical world. The word science comes from the latin word  "scientia," meaning knowledge.

Science refers to a system of acquiring knowledge. This system uses observation and experimentation to describe and explain natural phenomena. The term science also refers to the organized body of knowledge people have gained using that system.

There are two major classifications of science: Natural sciences, the study of the natural world, and Social sciences, the systematic study of human behavior and society.

  8. Science is the study of things known, and unknown. Science is taking chances to try and see if a theory someone had is true or false. Science is the study of Plants, Animals , Environment, Culture, Space, and many others. Being a scientist is a very important job because how would we know about new things if there wasn't someone to discover them for us. Science is Discovery.

  10. Science is the process of experimentation through which the nature of the physical world and its laws come to be understood. Scientists strive to come up with explanations of natural phenomena that are consistent with reproducible experiments and that can be used to make accurate predictions of future results.
