A parakeet is a parrot, so is a lovebird, both are common in pet shops

You do not need a parrot, you want a parrot. But you do not seems to know a lot about them. You should research & resd up on breeds, before you get one. Parrots are very long lived. Maybe you could try a parrakeet.

Remember pets are living beings & now toys.

They need to be fed, cleaned & cared for.

you can buy several different types of stuffed animals at most stores.

You can try a parrotlet.  They are great little parrots.  Why do you need a small one?
