  1. If you have drivers license and insurance I would deliver pizzas. You get paid plus you get tips to take home at night.

  2. Cleaning, kitchen work, packing, running errands, gardening, babysitting, newspaper delivery are some of the jobs available. These jobs will be posted in local newspapers and billboards. A better option is to work from home on your computer - write articles, sell on eBay, make a website, take surveys. In some cases, you may have to set up an account in your parents or guardians name, and ask them to pay you, after they get the money for your work. More details are available at http://kj9.info

  3. Fast food isn't that bad, you get free food and if you find the right one their might be tip money.

Due to your age, you will want to aim for an off the books job.  Such jobs could be that of a waiter.  You could deliver newspapers, or even pizzas when you get a license.

You can also become a TV extra as they hire people of various ages for background work.  TV extras can be as long as 12hrs.  You will need a copy of the ROSS REPORTS and just submit to NON UNION agencies.  When a production contacts the agency, they look through their clients (that's you) and tell the agency who they want.  In return they contact you.  It could be anywhere and can be really early and can end really late.

You can get good stories as you will see real actors performing.  It's really boring and most are doing this for SAG vouchers among other reasons.  They will call you sporatically, but so far it has been a positive experience.

I work for two agencies.  Central Casting NY which are very picky.  And Background Inc.  Background called me for 12 jobs, I only took 6.  Mostly comercials and the payrate is usually 150 a day (less after tax).

I've meet people your age as well.  I don't think cutting class for a day once and awhile would do much harm.

You will need to bring your passport to fill W4 forms.  It's very mudane but people not familiar with anything tv will find what you do very amazing when in reality it's "Please walk from point A to B".

  4. Your local grocer.

  5. work at shoppers

  6. pizza deliver is not an option in most states as it is illegal for those under 18 to drive as part of their employment.

also in most states it is  NOT okay to miss a little school as one has suggested for "extras" work. actually it is not legal for a minor to work during normal school hours without a special permit, even in states that don't require work permits.

fast-food, grocery stores and retail are the best options you have. fast-food is the largest employer of teens because they can work around the availability of minors and within the labor laws that cover them.

IF you really want/need a job you need to NOT BE PICKY and realize that at your age any/all jobs are good jobs.

this is not your career.......this is a way to learn job-skills, work-ethic and make money to achieve some goal, be it secondary education or that first car.

  7. Unfortunatley... fast food, grocery, or Wal-Mart are your best options.

  8. Pizzerias are always looking to hire.. especially if you have a drivers license to deliver....Wegmens hires at 15.....during the summer time sometimes your city may have a summer youth employment center were they will give you jobs for the summer and pay you minimum wage.
