I need a poem for my great grandad- who is alive?

i need a poem to read at my grandads party - he is 93 and is of good health . i would like something witty if poss but not to mushy . i have searched through the internet and cant find anything. can anyone help me i need for today - cause the party is tomorrow . i am a 10 year old boy

What started on our first day

Will stay to the last

Feel the wind upon your face

No urgency now

A gentle pace

Along the beach

With golden sand beneath our feet

As the sun dips into the sea

Tears well

Emotions deep

Breathtaking, unable to speak

Among the trees

The rustle of leaves

The groan of limbs

As wind swirls

Squirrels scurry for protection

Loving arms hold you near

Until an unwelcome presence passes

Away from here

Through valleys lush and green

Crested by majestic peaks

Covered with ice and snow

A final journey for the weak

A comfort for us below

i like the poem the 13 year old wrote. but change the ending...

dont write "hope it's not coming to an end, etc... "

you need something more upbeat.

I thought I'd let you see

What a awesome Granddad you are

And what you mean to me.

It's very rare, Granddad,

To meet someone special like you

You cheer me up when Im down

And you're always there for me too.

All the good times we had

and all the memories we share

Everytime in need I turn around

You're always there.

So I want to let you know

Your special in everyway

And 1 last thing I have to say,

is, Happy Birthday!

May many more days like these come

And hope life doesnt come to an end
