  1. as for math the best computer program I have ever encountered is called math advantage 2002. I would not recommend any of the more advanced years of the program as I have not used them but I have tutored many students with this program and it is easy and very helpful!

  2. schooloftomorrow.com the work books are about 3.00 each and there is an assessment test to tell you where to start if your not doing kindergarten

  3. You can use the individual courses from Penn Foster High School.  They have a lot of Basic programs.

  4. You could try the "Switched On Schoolhouse" programs by Alpha Omega - they have every subject. They even do the grading for you.

I haven't used them but I do know families who have used them with great success. They have some kind of sale right now, 12% off if you enter the coupon code SAVEBIG when checking out. You can check it out here:

  5. For math Saxon, A Beka or Teaching Textbooks.

    Saxon is available from:

    http://www.Hewitthomeschooling.com

    A Beka is availble from:

    http://www.abeka.com

    Teaching Textbooks are available from:

    http://www.teachingtextbooks.com

For the other subjects try the additional courses from A Beka or Hewitt, or go to http://www.aop.com for either Lifepacs or Switched ON Schoolhouse.

  6. Abc teach.com

  7. "people" ?????

lol, do you mean those little people that live with you that most people call children?????

Or are you wanting to set up a tutoring business?

You will have to identify your target audience, whether you are wanting to homeschool your children or whether you are wanting to open a business. Find their level of comprehension then start looking for books that cater to those needs.

If you want elementary math, you would look at certain things, but if you want remedial consumer math for adults, then you would look in an entirely different direction. AND if you wanted to tutor highschool students, then you would go off in another direction.

"People", is just a bit, well, vague.

There are a lot of people out there with a lot of different needs.

zero in on the people you want to help.
