I need a question about my hair?

Today...i went to hot-topic and i bought the color fiend radioactive (its like dark blue or something)and its not showing up.Y?My hair is black...its probably the black,but i just need some answers.....and btw,my friend has her hair dyed and its perfectly put on,and her hair is black....she didnt bleach it though....HELP ME!

It might not take to your hair,some dyes don't

And usually colours won't go ontop of black

maybe if your friend has nautrally black hair. if you dyed yours you need to bleach it.

Sometimes it varies depending on the condition of your hair, if it isn't showing up, you'll need to bleach a few sections to act as highlights where you can go back through with the color fiend to let the color pick up into some of the highlights.

You can try doing a strand test leaving it on longer etc to achieve a better result. It works better if left on for 30 minutes with some heat.

Ok I did this same thing to my hair about three weeks ago. I bought the color of true blue Raw at Hot-Topic. I have Natural Black hair. I had to bleach my hair and then put the Blue Color. If you have Black hair you have to bleach. There is no way around that. I do recommend that you get a Demi-Permenant Color. It lasts longer. Don't get the Semi-Permenant because that washes out quickly.

well is it the permanent stuff? if so, your friend probabaly used bleach before she put the blue in. thats what makes it show up, it makes the blue brighter in your hair, so that you can see it.

I've heard Color Fiend isn't very good anyway. Also it's semi-permanent, so it might not show up on black hair. That dye is meant for light hair. I used semi permanent dyes all the time.
