  1. make it easy, grill some chicken for you and hubby and give the babies cooked pasta, carrots/peas (cooked but not mushy) and some applesauce.  For you adults maybe make a garlic wine suace for your pasta.

  3. Homemade stovetop mac and cheese? Boil some regular, whole wheat, multigrain, or fibre-added macaroni or shells, make a basic cheese sauce, using low fat old sharp cheddar cheese (if you want to cut down on the flour and butter, you could use corn starch and milk). Stir in the pasta, Season with salt and pepper, a tiny dash of dijon if you want just to deepen the flavor of the cheese, and throw in some broccoli, peas, green beans, or whatever kinds of veggies you guys like. It's yummy, one pot, and everybody loves it (much better than the boxed kind, so much healthier too)! Real comfort food.

  4. For you and your hubby make spaghetti (buy the 3 minute soup and buy an already made spaghetti sauce. Cook the pasta but don't add the little packet that comes in the package, when it's cooked add the sauce to the pasta. Your done!)

    For your kids you can make mac n' cheese or mashed potatoes or what you're having.
