  1. I'm with these guys. I ride as a commuter every day and in heavy traffic (I live in TaiZhong, I belive #43 on the most densely populated cities in the world).

If you don't know how to operate a clutch, that says volumes about your general readiness to drive a bike.

I'd say learn a few times on a low powered bike and then move up.

DRIVING a bike is a VASTLY different experience than simply sitting on it and revving it up a few times.

My main commuter is lower powered (think - fuel economy), but still manages to slip the back end now and again. What are you going to do when the back end starts to slip because of whatever reason? What about when the back end starts to lift? What about if the front end starts to lift?

if you can't answer these questions with your fingertips at a moment's notice, STAY OFF THE 600!

And if you are considering riding alone on top of it all.... yikes.

Hey, when you go for your organ donor card, tell 'em Yahoo Answers sent ya! And do it before you go. Maybe we can get some kickbacks if you don't spread yourself too thinly...

  2. Take a class in motor cycle riding. Then repost any other question under motorcycles.

  3. go to the dealer that you bought the bike from and ask them for a run trough of the bike and ask them if they have a traing course for new rider

  4. Dude,

This is a serious sport bike.  Do not try to learn on it.

  5. where you at bro if i see you coming towards me i can get the h**l out of the way .

who in their right mind buys a gsx  600 as a learners bike they are to heavy

  6. I see so many stupid questions like this on here and I would love to think that someone is just having fun, asking vapid questions, but really...I think this  guy is for real.  I dont think a dealer is gonna sell a bike to a guy who doesnt have a license (maybe its used).  Its prolly stolen.  Dont ride it kid....

  7. You sound to me like the perfect person to become an organ donor. Hospitals and patients in need love people like you. I assume you'll ride without a helmet also.

The best thing that you could do would be to give your motorcycle key to a friend until you have taken an approved motorcycle training course. Go to your local dealer and ask them to provide you with information on the next available training.

Good luck and ride safe. Jim

  8. Start bike, rev to 7500 RPM, let go of clutch. Problem solved. Permanently.

  9. You cant even spell.. what makes me think your smart enough to ride, or tell you anything.. You should have started off on a 250 or something o well . I'm sure you will hurt yourself. one less idiot in the world then

  10. ^^^  Thanks, I didnt want to be "that guy"
