  1. Cupcakes! You can also buy little candys and hide one in each cupcake. You can hide two in a special one for your son.

  2. Something fun....get a bunch of donuts and donut holes, pile them up into like a pyramid. Use frosting and decorative sprinkles to make funny faces on each donut or hole.  Looks like a pile of silly faces.  I also love giant sugar cookies on a stick.  Just cut them into any large shape you want, (maybe he has a hobby) insert a bake able stick, then bake and decorate.  I wrapped them in clear party treat bags and ribbon for a fancy touch. Good luck

  3. a dog tag? or a watch?

  4. How about "Space Candy"? All you do is put a marsh mellow in the microwave and freeze it for less than 2 hours. The candy melts in your mouth and it's really yummy.

(PS It's really cheap but it can get messy)

  5. This is what I'm doing for my daughter's birthday in class this year. The teachers just ask that it be something they can take with them as they leave (they do it right at the end of the day). Her birthday is at the end of the year so everyone has done cookies, cupcakes, etc.

So we went and got some pizza boxes from Round Table. I'm going to make a cookie pizza.  There's many kinds - you can make it with sugar cookie dough, use whipped cream for frosting, and top with fruit.  But I think that will be too fragile to travel so I think I'm going to make it choc-chip cookie crust, with food-colored frosting for sauce, (maybe yellow to look like cheese?) then I was thinking of cutting up fruit roll-ups to look like pepperoni, maybe just sprinkle some M&M's because it looks cute.

She has 20 kids in her class so I might even make two smallish ones. I'm planning to cut it up with a pizza cutter.

  6. Cupcakes inside of sugar ice cream cones-they stay together very well and are delicious.

Email me if you want the recipe I use.

  7. Bake cookies and have him bring those in to the class. Or cupcakes. Everyone loves cupcakes! Just make sure you make more cupcakes than kids in the class, in case some greedy kids sneak more than one. If there are leftovers, they can be shared with the principal and his favourite teachers.
