i have horrible dark circles under my eyes and my old concealer just isnt cutting it. i always look like im dead or i just walked in from the night before. i recently darkened my hair so now i need to a really good eyebrow pencil to make my eyebrows match b/c dark red hair and blonde eyebrows just looks weird.

so my question is... what is your fav brand(s) of makeup and why? price isn't that much of an issue but id rather not pay $50 for 1 bottle of concealer. thanks yall!

  1. napoleon all the way :)

    or

    loreal

  2. Brands that makes me comfy and it suits for my skin.

  3. When it comes to foundation, I prefer Clinique or MAC. I use Clinique Superbalanced Makeup and MAC Studio Finish foundation. I like the Clinique b/c it really blends into your skin. The MAC gives a nice polished finish- but if you have imperfections (like dry skin), it's best to moisturize quite well before using.

For eyebrows, I use an eyebrow powder from MAC and apply with a short, stiff bristled brush.

I recommend visiting a MAC counter (if you can), or talking with a MAC makeup artist via their website.

  4. I wear Sephora Brand :)

  5. The Covergirl TruBlend range is good, and so is the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse range, for those of us on a budget!!

  6. try http://www.nicolemillerskincare.com/ , my wife swears by her skin care!! good luck!! joey

  7. If I really want to cover the dark circles I have, I use Maybelline EverFresh foundation around my eyes only and then use Bare Minerals with the concealer brush over that in a slightly lighter shade that still blends into my skin, then use my normal color foundation all over. I'm pretty sure they don't make EverFresh anymore, but the basic technique of liquid around the eyes, powder concealer, powder foundation should work better than a regular concealer and foundation. I would say the thicker the foundation the better (and you may way to apply it with a professional concealer brush if you dont have the finger technique down), and you don't really have to worry about it clogging your pores because it's just right around your eyes! Another technique just to make an illusion of having less deep-set eyes is applying eyeliner to only the top eyelid and only apply either a little mascara or a little eyeshadow in a lighter shade with a small thin angled brush on the bottom lid. It draws attention to the top of your eyelids, not the bottom.
