Well, the best singer for nisiotika doesn't sing anymore. She is Irini Konitopoulou-Legaki, Eleni Legaki's mother. Eleni Legaki is good, Maria Skoula is another very good singer. Parios so and so, he does not sing nisiotika in such a good way. Ikariotikos dance is not so fast, for example.

Sorry airpole, but Vaggelis Konitopoulos, Giannoulis-Vazaios, Stamatis Gonidis do not sing nisiotika in an authentic way. They sing ''skilonisiotika''. Ask anybody in Kynidaros or Aperathou in Naxos. Especially, people from the Konitopoulos family should not sing nisiotika like that.

Search for traditional musicians and singers, people who sing for traditional dancing groups like ''Lykeion ton Ellinidon''. It's not easy to find good and authentic nisiotika songs. Nikos Ikonomidis, Stathis Koukoularis and Kyriakos Gouventas are very good violin players-there are others, too, I just don't remember them now.

The best of the best are performed by the Konitopoulos family, known as  "oi Konitopoulaioi"

Different members of the same big family are the absolute rulers in that kind  of music.

Vangelis and Stellina are two of the current singers that carry on the tradition.

Also, search "Nisiotika tragoudia" in U-tube and you will get a fair list of them

Finally, I could not hold myself and I went on that refreshing trip in he Aegean with their voices . Enjoy  file . Like I did

For me, personally, Yiannis Parios is also a great performer of Nisiotika.
