1. Desiree Crusade of Crusade Specific Chiropractic on 30th and I Street is the best chiropractor I've ever been to. She uses a unique method that is more effective than typical chiropractors. People travel very far to see her for this reason. Here is her website http://www.palmerdc.com/.

You can also learn more about the upper cervical method of chiropractic at uppercervical.org. I wish I would have known about this method years ago when I was in a car accident. Could have avoided a lot of pain and symptoms that didn't appear until years later.

Please let me know if I can answer any questions for you. Best of luck...

    Julie

  2. For chiropractic, go see Dr. Dale Powers, DC at 11990 Heritage Oaks Place, Suite 11 in Auburn, CA 95603; (530)888-8865. Absolutely the best chiropractor I've ever seen in my life, and a wonderful, brilliant, kind-hearted man, as well. Ask him for a referral to an acupuncturist in Sacramento. If you choose not to make the trip to Auburn, which isn't that far, and is a nice drive up I-80, call him anyway, and ask for a referral to a Network Chiropractor in Sac. The entire roster of people working as healers out of Heritage Oaks Place is WONDERFUL. This is where I went before moving back to the East Coast from CA. The Rudolf Steiner College in Fair Oaks should be able to help you find someone good as well. They will particularly know about anthroposophical doctors, but should have enough connections in the community to be of good assistance to you in your search for a chiropractor and an acupuncturist. The California School of Herbology on Shattuck Street in Berkeley would also be another resource for you.

There are many, many other places in CA that can assist you, including one of the very best colleges and practitioners of Ayurveda at the California College of Ayurveda in Grass Valley, CA, Dr. Marc Halpern, who is also a chiropractor, if I remember correctly.

  3. I know personally Dr. Siegfried in Lodi. He and is brother are excellent chiropractors and each have practices there.
