  1. i know my friend's mom makes an excellent mac n cheese dish. my mom learned it from her, & she didn't measure the amount of ingredients, but she estimated for us :]

    all you need is a 1 pound box of macaroni, a block of velveta cheese, 2% or whole milk & 1\4 cup butter. first, pour about 1 to 2 cups of milk into a pot on medium to medium high heat. Cut the velveeta block into chunks so they can melt easier, then put them into the pot. then throw in the butter and wait for it to simmer. you want to keep stirring, so the cheese will melt evenly. in a separate pot, boil your macaroni until tender. Keep stirring the sauce though! when the macaroni is done, strain and put it back into the pot. once the sauce has boiled a few minutes, and all the cheese chunks are melted, pour the hot sauce over the macaroni. stir, then enjoy!

  2. well, its not a recipe, but it is the most DELICIOUS freakin cheez anywhere:

    Stoffer's Macoroni & Cheese

    buy it in the freezer aisle. trust me. its worth it.

  3. I will give you 2

    The southern one not so creamy but people love it

    4 cups well cooked mac noodles

    4 cups shredded cheese ( cheddar, velveeta mixed )

    2 eggs beaten up mixed with 1 tea spoon salt 2 cups milk

    in a pan layer pasta,cheese,pasta,cheese,pasta, cheese the egg and  milk mix on top put in the oven at 350 for until it bubbles and the pasta absorbs most of the milk

    the creamy one

    in a large sauce pan heat 1/4 cup butter

    1/4 cup flour  mix it as it cooks add 2 cups milk 3 cups shredded cheddar and salt and pepper to taste add the pasta mix well if do dry for you add more milk

  4. CREAMY MAC 'N CHEESE

    8 oz. (1 3/4 c.) uncooked elbow macaroni

    1/4 c. all-purpose flour

    2 c. milk

    8 oz. (2 c.) shredded American cheese

    1/8 tsp. pepper

    Cook macaroni to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; rinse with hot water.

    In jar with tight-fitting lid combine flour and 1 cup of the milk. Shake until well blended. Pour into medium saucepan, add remaining milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens. Add cheese; continue cooking until cheese is melted, stirring constantly. Add cooked macaroni and pepper. Heat thoroughly. Makes 8 servings.

  5. I like this one but I add tuna and spicy schezwaun sauce to it instead of mustard because I don't care for mustard

    Also, add peas/brocolli and tuna to mine

    Ingredients

        * 2 cups macaroni, cooked according to package directions I use bowtie pasta not elbow mac

        * 1 1/2 tablespoons butter

        * 2 tablespoons flour *this is the trick

        * 1 1/2-2 cups whole milk or skim milk * I use skim but whole will make it even more cheesy

        * 2 tablespoons prepared mustard

        * 12-16 ounces shredded cheddar cheese(medium , sharp or extra-sharp, 3-4 cups)

    Directions

       1. In skillet on medium heat, melt butter; quickly whisk in flour to form a paste.

       2. Immediately add milk, whisking constantly, to form a smooth medium white sauce.

       3. Cook until mixture gently boils and sauce thickens, adding a little more milk to make the sauce the consistency of gravy.

       4. Add mustard and cheese, stirring to mix.

       5. Cook until cheese melts and sauce is creamy.

       6. Reduce heat to low and add macaroni, stirring to mix well and heat macaroni.

  6. this is how i make it, & it comes out creamy & doesn't taste like the crappy box stuff.

    boil your noodles, add them to a baking dish.

    take 3 tbl of butter add to a pan, melt it

    add 2 tbl flour & mix.

    cook on medium for a minute then add 3 cups milk & keep stirring until it becomes thicker

    add Velveeta cheese or shredded cheddar until its as cheesy as you would like it.

    add it to the noodles,bake at 350 until it is brown & a gooey yummyness!

    you can add crumbled up  ritz crackers to the top to make it crunchy if you want.
