I need a recommendation for a good fine dining restaurant in Paris?

Can anyone recommend me a good restaurant in Paris for fine dining. I am not really on a budget I would just like some excellent food.

The Buffalo Grills at near the 'Pigalle' Metro Station...

I've been there, and it's quite good at grill cooking meats...

or if you are a vegetarian, why not say to the waiter or waitress to bring in the vegetable menus /?

Tour d'Argent, Le Grand Vefour:  very expensive.

For a great meal in a beautiful restaurant I would recommend "Bofinger" - you can google them as they have a website.  It's a great place.

Also, for something really different, try Le Train Bleu, Place Louis Armand at the Gare de Lyon train station.  Second Empire decor and absolutely fabulous.  You'll think you're in a movie!  You can also google "Le Train Bleu" for more information.
