I need a recommendation for a tall and narrow tree or shrub, flowering preferred not required for Houston clim

I am putting 1 on each side of a walkway to a house. They will be lit up by spot lights. I like a little gem magnolia customer does not. Any ideas I can offer. A website with picture or height and width dimensions would help:)

Sky Pencil Holly or Sky Rocket Juniper - grows 1 1/2 -2 feet wide and about 10-12 feet tall. Excellent for entry ways. Each of these plants are zoned for your area.

The Lomardy Poplar grows very straight, tall, and narrow.  May be what your looking for.
