I need a recording program that is FREE that can do what stereo mix can with out stereo mix!?

and it has to positively has to record what i'm hearing!

is there any download out there that is like this? if so please give me a link thank you!

i've used audacity 4 years now. recorded cassettes-lp's and put them on pc then burned to cd.any sound that goes into the mic jack audacity will record the program has alot of good effects too.and it is free
