seems worse when I'm inside, anywhere with air con or heating, and after eating pretty much anything. Any ideas without long-term nasal sprays would be great!

  1. Get a Nettie pot! it cleans out your sinus with warm saline solution. I think you can get on at Walgreen's!

  2. Get a Grossan Nasal Irrigator. You attach it to a WaterPik and add salt water.  Works great!

  3. Try the Musinex stuff at Walmart, Walgreens, or any drugstore.  They sell it over the counter.  You might want to talk to your doctor too because you might have a sinus infection.  They can prescribe antibiotics for it.

  4. Try a gargle made of the juice of a fresh lemon and honey.  It cuts through the mucus in your throat.  Avoid dairy, white bread, white rice and other processed foods.  You should also do a colon cleanse.  In Chinese Medicine the lungs and large intestine have a yin/ yang relationship

  5. My herbal drink is very good for your nasal congestion.  It has made my mother-in-law recover from her arthritis.  It is like a cure-all for many ailments.  My friends who tried it recovered from their asthma and diabetes problems.  It is comprised of 5 power herbs.  The most powerful herb, moringa, is even known to cure cancer.  Search the web for Moringa and you’ll know what I mean.

  6. More than likely you are dealing with food allergies and potentially an intolerance for wheat and dairy products.  Wheat is in almost everything we eat labeled often as "Modified Food Starch"  Suggest you get screened by someone who reps Metagenics products.  The company has a plan for figuring out what you are sensitive to and offers nutritional support as well to follow.  It has made a big difference in many of my clients lives to do this.

A Nettie Pot is also a wonderful tool to clear the sinus issues in the meantime.

  7. My Mom swears by snorting hot salty water up her nose in the shower.

It's quite a well known treatment and you can even buy kits, but just do it this way.

  8. Remedy:  you need to see an allergist and/or ENT specialist.

  9. Nasal sprays and antibiotics only give you a bit of short term relief and nasal sprays can actually damage your sinuses.

Replacing mucus generating dairy products with soy milk helps.

Garlic oil (odourless capsules) every day helps and apple cider vinegar every day helps as well.

  10. Drink up!  Water will help thin everything out.  Limit your dairy...is thinkens your mucus.  Get on a good probiotic ,this can help, sometimes cure allergies(it's the good bacteria you need in your gut for your immune system). Also try out some local honey to help with allergies.

Don't do any nasal spray!  You will get addicted and it's horrible to come off of.  Get a netti pot/ sinucleanse  this will help move things along.
