I would say a geko or lizzard they r active and cute and u gan play or pet it.

A bearded dragon has so much personality and enjoy their owners company. Though they and their habitat is very expensive, they are worth the price. For a beardie expect to put down about $300.

Bearded Dragons and Chinese water dragons are very active they each cost around 60 dollars at Petco abd their cages plus decor are about 150 dollars but they are worth it and they love to be handled

hmm an active reptile or amphibian? active reptile = non-existent haha... well not in my experience of reptile keeping anyways. actually one reptile out of most stood out activity-wise, and that was my red-ear slider turtle. they love clear and clean water, so if you want to get one and you want it active, buy an excellent waste filter and a bottle of water conditioner and by golly keep it clean! I highly recommend Repto-Min food pellets.

depends on how much upkeep you are planing to do. Reptiles are fairly easy and can be handled alot more. Whereas Amphibians tend to hide out and are more difficult to keep because they need light but they have to stay very moist so they dont "dry out". I have a Uromastix and a Bearded Dragon and they love to be handled and hand fed. They are always out and about and very easy to take care of try to start with one like that!
