If u looking for low rates; better to stay balanagar or chintal area. Rate is no problem; stay in srinagar colony, banjara hills, ameerpet, somajiguda, begumpet.

You asked for single room; better to stay in hostel or stay in balanagar, chintal is best. becasue people are not preferred to give rooms for bachelor.

There are lots of brokers who will do that for the price of half the rent amount. It also depends on your budget. Panjagutta is quiet expensive and if you cannot afford it, you will have to look further.
