My wisdom teeth have not begun to grow in, but last year, my dentist told me that by looking at my X-Rays, they were going to give me trouble and said I had about 2 years to get them removed until they started breaking through my gums.

Long story short, I had a filling. It was too big and made chewing god awful. I chipped it (flossing no less) a while back after a root canal. I didn't have a crown over it because it was $300 (and my mom didn't have $300 to spare. She was in the hospital earlier in the year and fell behind on bills. I'm 16 BTW). It did have something in the inside though (duh). So, I need to get it drilled down and my crown put on( I also need a replacement. I had a crown on another tooth years ago, but the first time I touch candy in months and it pulls the sucker right off)

Anways, I am so terrified of the dentist I can't walk in there without shaking. The smell, the sharp instruments, the chair and people playing around in my mouth. I get it sounds foolish, but I'm freaking out just thinking about it.

I was thinking of getting them done soon (get a day or two off school. lol) but I'd love to get everything done at once so I can have 5 months and 3 weeks of peace. Also, when I get my wisdom teeth removed, would I have to go to an oral surgeon since they haven't grown in? And, would they put me to sleep? I don't think I'd make it if they didnt't!

I've always had dental issues even as a small child. I had something called bottle mouth and it sent me on a path to h**l (I'm a bit dramatic). My doctor also said something about not getting enough calcium since I'm lactose intolerant. I brush 3 times a day and floss all the time.

  1. No....usually different doctors doing the procedures...plus that is waay too much work to be done at once in an office setting
